It is Friday! Happy Fri-YAY everyone! What does that mean is for the blog? – Techniques, Tips, and Tricks. Since I used the Gilded Leafing embellishment on Thursday’s Live, I chose to teach you other ways to use that product.
For this 3″ x 3″ card, I used Multipurpose Glue. To use this adhesive, you have to apply it sparingly. Let it dry after you put it on your project. Once dry, it is still tacky, so apply the Gilded Leafing by pressing it against that tacky glue.
For this card, I used Mini Glue Dots. Place them all over the cardstock. Next, press the Gilded Leafing onto each dot and brush off the excess.
This card also uses Mini Glue Dots, but they are the ones that come in the Paper Pumpkin Kits. Because of how they come on a sheet rather than a roll, you can place them with more precision. Also, note that they are slightly smaller than the Mini Glue Dots on the roll.
For this card, I used Adhesive Sheets. I placed it on a piece of cardstock and punched that cardstock with the Flowers & Leaves Punch. Peel the backing off the punched piece and press the Gilded Leafing to it. Brush off the excess.
For this last card, I used Tear & Tape. I placed pieces of it in a row, leaving a gap between them, and formed a striped pattern. I peeled the back off and pressed the Gilded Leafing to it, brushing off the excess. For the word ‘Hello,’ I used Heat and Stick Powder the same way I did on the Facebook Live Thursday for the flower. Watch the replay if you didn’t see me do that one to see how it is done.
