Organization for Beautiful DSP in 12 x 12 & 6 x 6

Organizing DSP. Organization is such a key component of design and card-making as a whole. For me, if I do not have my products in an organized, easy-to-find place, I cannot produce my best work. Getting new products and finding a good way to display them for visual appeal and function is an integral part of the creative process. Today, I will talk about my Stampin’ Up! Dies.

I will be discussing Organization all week and helping you as best I can to see how I store things in my Stamping Studio. I will put Amazon links for the things I use to hold my products in case you are interested in finding them easily. Don’t forget to come back each day this week to see more!

Today I will focus on DSP storage. I love Cardstock but I especially love DSP! The beautiful colors and patterns just call my name. Designer Series Paper can transform cards.

6″ x 6″ DSP Organization

I keep my 6″ x 6″ DSP in a plastic container. While trying to find the same container I have, I found a great substitute that I would purchase for myself if I was starting from scratch today. I will link it at the end with all the other links.

If the DSP comes in a thick packet I leave it in that, but if it is a thin plastic I remove it and place it in a Storage Packet that is nice and thick. I will link to it below as well.

12″ x 12″ DSP Organization

I store 12″ x 12″ DSP from the Annual Catalog is in these plastic large holders. It is because there is so much more 12″ x 12″ DSP in the Annual Catalog.

I have Tab dividers between them to separate the different packages. I will link to them below. Now the 12″ x 12″ DSP from the Mini Catalogs, I hold them in smaller 1/2″ thick plastic holders. They will be linked below as well. You can see these in the Livestream Video where I showed them.

I am attaching a copy of my YouTube live stream that took place on Tuesday, April 12, 2023. It shows all of my organizers. I will be sharing them with you one at a time in these blog posts. I hope you will join me next week for another live stream on YouTube. They happen every Tuesday night at 8 pm EST on my YouTube Channel. Just below is another video for how I organize the DiesI purchase.

I would like to share with you the products used to organize the cardstock portion of my Stamping Studio.

Come back tomorrow for more glimpses into the organized areas of my Stamp Studio. If you would also like to view yesterday’s blog post on Dies organization, click here.

Thank you for taking the time to post these videos. I checked out the links for the organization bins. However, when I go there, several bins pop up. Would you mind letting me know which size you find best suited. Also, if you are using the wider bin, what do you store beside it in the Kallax unit to make the best use of space? Thank you.

Christine, the one that it defaults to when you click the link. The 12″ x 9″ x 3.5″ is the right one. The measurements for these bins are the outer measurements and are smaller inside. I find I have go up in size for my items to fit comfortably inside and not get bent. Next to my 6 x 6 paper in my Kallax are a few of the 1/2″ wide 12 x 12 DSP holders. You could also fit the larger 12 x 12 holders side by side with your 6 x 6 bin. Hope this helps. ♥Kelli
