I can’t wait to show you the Quiet Meadow Bundle. This is my fourth week straight of blogging every day! I am so proud of myself. It is Sunday again. Every Sunday will be Simple Stamping Sunday. I am not really a simple stamper. I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years now, and I sometimes forget what it was like to start. But, since it is Sunday, I am posting a simple stamping project. And by that I mean, only using stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. They won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Quiet Meadow Stamp Set, Basic White Cardstock, Mint Macaron Cardstock, and Ink. It is simple and clean. This stamped card reminds me of a botanical journal. It has so many detailed images. It is just gorgeous.
Here is a closer view of the card. You can see that even though I used just one color of ink, the results are still stunning. It is the detailed images in the stamp set. I am so completely in love with this stamp set. I hope you will be as well. We will spend an entire week on it. I will be making different projects each day, and by Saturday, we will have quite a few projects for my efforts.
The first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple as well but uses just a few more products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. The card has a few more elements added to it. A matted layer was added to the cards, well as an extra color of ink because a Casual Stamper has many more ink colors than a Beginner. A die-cut piece was used added and tucked behind the main focal image. The main image was also fussy-cut and adhered with Stampin’ Dimensionals, small shaped foam pieces that give layers a lift. Check out the close-ups below.
Now that I have shown you the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, not only was the Quiet Meadow Bundle used but also the Tailor Made Tag Dies. Here below are the close-ups.
