It is Friday! Happy Fri-YAY everyone! What does that mean is for the blog? – Tips, Tricks, and Techniques. Today I have a Punch trick for you using the Halloween Punch in the Cutest Halloween Bundle. It is a new punch in the July – December 2021 Mini Catalog. It is a very sweet trick and in order to do it, you will need a thin, long scrap of cardstock, the stamped image to be punched, and its matching punch.
The picture above is a sneak peek of tomorrow’s blog post, where I will show this Punch Trick on my Facebook Live Session, Saturday at 4 pm EST. It is such a simple trick and works so well for these types of punches. Let’s begin.
Stamp the images that you want to use the punch for.
Take the thin, long scrap of cardstock and apply your glue of choice to it then adhere it to the back of your stamped image.
Slide the image into the punch using the thin long strip of cardstock to position it into place. Punch it. Remove the strip from the back of the punched piece and adhere it to your project. Punch Trick activated!
When using the Punch Trick on the ghost, I was able to position the first one into place without the long thin strip of cardstock but for the second one, I had to use it.
As you can see from the photos above, I used a similar Punch Trick method with the pumpkin. By doing this Punch Trick, you can use up all those small scraps of cardstock for your projects.
