So excited to bring the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set to you for this entire week. I blog every day and I have had so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sundays are the days that start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
Not being a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Peaceful Deer Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set, Soft Sea Foam Cardstock for the base, and accented with Basic White and Pear Pizzazz Cardstock. The inks I used were Early Espresso, Pear Pizzazz, and Garden Green Classic Ink. This stamp set is just so pretty. I just love the precious deer. He is so sweet. Check out the close-ups.
Taking a closer view of the card, you can see the details in the deer and how beautiful the Peaceful Prints DSP is. If you choose to buy this stamp set in the new mini catalog, you will love it. One thing I like about this stamp set is as part of the Bundle it comes with a deer punch. It punches out two of the images in the stamp set and of course, can also be used for a punch art deer. I hope you will see how truly beautiful it is because it would make a great addition to your collection or a great first stamp set. This entire week, I will be sharing ideas daily. Casual Stamping Peaceful Deer Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too just uses a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
The background layer is essentially the same as the first card but I stamped Soft Sea Foam snowflakes on the cardstock background. An additional color of cardstock, Sahara Sand, was used on this card as well. Using the Tailored Tag Punch I cut the sentiment into a fun shape. The trees were fussy-cut out and glued onto the Sahara Sand layer. Because a Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.

Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Peaceful Deer Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, the Peaceful Deer Stamp Set, Deer Builder Punch, Scalloped Contours Dies, and Peaceful Prints DSP were used. Also added was the Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon. It turned out so pretty! Down below are the close-ups.
