So excited to bring the Peaceful Cabin Bundle to you for this entire week. I blog every day and I have so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sunday is the day that I start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
Not being a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Peaceful Cabin Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set, Crumb Cake Cardstock for the base, and accented with Basic White Cardstock. I used Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow Classic Ink. This stamp set is just beautiful. Check out the close-ups.
Casual Stamping Peaceful Cabin Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too just using a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
The background layer is the same as the first card but the trees have a different placement. The addition of the Cabin dies and Fine Art Ribbon sets the Casual card apart. Because a Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.
Check out the close-ups below.
Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Peaceful Cabin Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, the Peaceful Cabin Stamp Set, Cabin Dies, were used as well as the Wintry 3D Embossing Folders. I also used the Neutrals 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper (DSP). Lastly, added were the Fine Art Ribbon and the Wonderful Gems. It turned out amazing! Down below are the close-ups.
I hope that you enjoyed this Simple Stamping Sunday blog post using the Peaceful Cabin Bundle. Every Sunday pop back in so that I can share more projects with you. I will leave you with images of all three cards. If you want to see last week’s Simple Stamping post, click here.
