This week’s Facebook Live showcased a stamp set called After the Storm located on page 50 of the 2021 – 2022 Annual Catalog! It is a very versatile stamp set that I paired with some really cool new dies. I paired it with Stampin’ Up!’s new Basic Borders Dies and also used the Artistry Blooms Adhesive-Backed Sequins. The colors I used are listed below. Click on any or all the colors, and be taken to my shop to see the all products available in those colors.
For the first card, I created a ‘Just Because’ card. It uses the incredible Border Basics Dies. They were used to make the clouds in front of the sun. Those sun rays are so pretty. This is such a perfect stamp set to complement many others in the new catalog. This versatile little stamp set has it all. Here are some close-up pictures.
Look at all the details of this fun little card. Even the inside has a ‘sun’. But I think my absolute favorite part is the bling on the front! It adds that finishing touch.
For the second card, I decided to use the cloud stamps included in the stamp set. I stamped them over and over again (first, second, and third generation stamping) to fill the bottom of the card. This card also uses the sun beams. Aren’t they pretty? See the pictures below for more details.
