This is the last week of Sale-a-bration. I wanted to showcase the Heal Your Heart Stamp Set. Since it is strictly sentiments, I paired it with a new stamp set from the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog. The stamp set is called Floating & Fluttering, and it doesn’t have any sentiments. For the first project, I wanted to use the sentiment that read, ‘We’re in this together.’ I loved the font and thought the words would go well with the design of my card.
The Floating & Fluttering stamp set has a unique outline image of a cluster of butterflies with some leaves surrounding them. I used them to build a background.
Next, I use one of the Fluttering Dies in the Bundle to cut out an area in the top of my background of butterflies. Then, I stamped a butterfly silhouette and the sentiment on top of it.
I always try to make the inside of my card pretty too. I stamped a matching sentiment for the inside and added a small butterfly to add interest.
The last thing, I tied a piece of pink twine into a bow around the side of the inlaid frame that I had created earlier with the Fluttering Die.
For my second project, I used the leftover background piece I had made and die-cut out on my last project. Can’t let all those pretty butterflies go to waste.
I stamped a background on my card using a stamp in the Floating & Fluttering stamp set. It is a little row of dots that are of different sizes. I stamped it over and over again on the card front to create a background.
I stamped a sentiment from Heal Your Heart that read ‘sorry for your loss’ onto a thin strip of cardstock. Then, I used my Banner Pick A Punch to flag the ends. I layered that over the small area of die cut butterflies.
I stamped a small butterfly on the inside but kept the rest blank to leave enough room to write a heartfelt note. The butterfly is pretty in the corner.
The little pink twine bow adds such whimsey to the card. Lastly, I added some Artistry Bloom Sequins to the front to tie in the pop of color from the butterflies in the center to the rest of the card. I love how it turned out!
