So excited to bring the Encircled in Warmth Stamp Set to you for this entire week. I blog every day and I have so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sunday is the day that I start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
Not being a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Encircled in Warmth Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Encircled in Warmth Stamp Set, Mossy Meadow Cardstock for the base and accented with Night of Navy and Pool Party Cardstock. The ink I used was Night of Navy Classic Ink. This sentiment stamp set is just beautiful. I love the fonts for each sentiment. They are all so different but amazing. Check out the close-ups.
Taking a closer view of the card. You can see that even though I used only Night of Navy Ink, the results are simple yet pretty. If you choose to buy this sentiment stamp set in the new mini catalog, you will love it. This week I will show you so many ideas for it. I hope you will see how truly versatile it is because it would make a great addition to your collection or a great first stamp set. This entire week, I will be sharing ideas daily. Casual Stamping Encircled in Warmth Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too just using a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
The background layer is essentially the same as the first card but I added a Pool Party Cardstock layer behind the Night of Navy strip of cardstock. Additionally, a Pool Party striped ribbon pops against that Night of Navy Cardstock strip. As in the first card, the Label Me Lovely Punch was used to highlight the sentiment. Because a Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.

Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Encircled in Warmth Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, the Encircled in Warmth Stamp Set, Encircled in Beauty Dies, Scalloped Contours Dies, and Label me Lovely Punch was used. Also added to this version was the Pool Party Striped Ribbon.
