Celebrate the Season – Monthly Scrapbooking Blog Hop

October 6, 2020

6 Oct

I was asked to participate in a monthly blog hop for Scrapbooking. Being a scrapbooker at heart you know I had to say Yes Yes Yes!

Monthly, I will be posting a set of scrapbook pages and then a link to the next blog for you to see their pages. If you click on each link you will eventually be brought back to my page and that way you will know you saw them all. Or you can click the names listed below to go to each blog separately. I hope you enjoy this monthly feature on my blog.

Please comment and give me feedback. I want my blog to be a place where you can come and get inspired!

The first thing I did was cut out my title with the Playful Alphabet Letter dies. I used our Adhesive Sheets to put on the back of the cardstock, essentially making the die-cut letter into a sticker. SCORE! 😛

Here is a close up of them with the adhesive sheets on the back.

Next, I made this cute wreath with 3 of the stamps from the Ornamental Envelopes stamp set. I used Pear Pizzazz, Mossy Meadow, and Cherry Cobbler Ink and stamped them in a circle to make the wreath. Then I topped it with a gold twine bow made from the Forever Greenery Combo Pack of ribbon.

Next, I made a tree with the same stamps and colors that I used on the wreath just stamping them in a different way.

I decided to dangle ornaments from my title so I stamped a bunch in Night of Navy, Cherry Cobbler, and Mossy Meadow inks. Then I cut them out with the dies in the Ornament Envelopes Bundle.

I wanted a picture cut in the shape of a circle so I used the Layering Circle dies to cut out the picture and the scalloped frame I put around it.

For the journaling, I wanted to accent it and tie in the other elements on the page so I stamped the large ornaments stamp from the Ornamental Envelopes Bundle then colored in the details with Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, and Cherry Cobbler Stampin’ Blend alcohol-based markers.

This is the finished product. I hope you like how it turned out. Come back every month to see other scrapbook pages in our blog hop.

Please click the picture that says next stop to go to the next blog and see the scrapbook pages. There are three of us in this blog hop.

Love your creativity! Absolutely love how you made the tree with the same stamp as the wreath! You are so talented. Love the die letters too! Great page layout.
