Every Wednesday, I will be doing a weekly blog post adding another project that ties in with what I used the day before, at my Facebook Live Event!
This week’s Bonus Project uses Springtime Joy Stamp Set. It is adorable, and also located in the January – June 2021 Mini Catalog!
How do I get a January – June 2021 Mini Catalog, you ask? It can be found digitally here on my blog or send me an email/FB Message, and I would be happy to put one in the mail for you.
As you can see in the pictures above, I started with a piece of Purple Posy Cardstock. I scored, cut, and burnished it next. Then, I used adhesive to form it into a cube-like box.
I sketched out a template for you to use as a guide. It should make it easier to recreate.
Next, I attached the sides. I wanted them to transform the cube into a rounded basket. I cut them from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The Hydrangea Designer Series Paper that I used is just so beautiful. Isn’t it?
Once I added the handle, I thought it needed flowers. I used the Hydrangea Dies to cut out the delicate blooms and inked them up with Highland Heather Classic Ink.
The basket came together beautifully. I was very happy with the results. Below are some detailed pictures for you to see.
