So excited to bring you these sending hugs wreath cards using the Eden’s Garden Suite of products on an Early Release. I will be using these products for this entire week. I blog every day and I have so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sunday is the day that I start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
Not being a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Sending Hugs Wreath Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Early Release Eden’s Garden Suite to make this sending hugs wreath card beginner version. Soft Sea Foam Cardstock for the base, and accented with Basic White Cardstock. The inks I used were Soft Sea Foam Classic Ink, Soft Succulent Classic Ink, and Evening Evergreen Classic Ink. This stamp set is beautiful. I just love the variety of leaf images. Check out the close-ups.
Taking a closer view of the card. You can see the pretty wreath that was created with the stamps by stamping in a circular form. The results are a precious sending hugs wreath card. If you choose to buy this early release suite of products, you will love it. It will be available on November 2, 2021. This week I will show you many ideas for it. I hope you will see how truly versatile it is because it would make a great addition to your collection or a great first stamp set. This entire week, I will be sharing different projects daily. By Saturday, there will be quite a few projects for my efforts. Come back to my blog daily to see them all.
Casual Stamping Sending Hugs Wreath Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too, it just uses a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
The background layer is essentially the same as the first card but uses an extra piece of Soft Succulent cardstock. The sending hugs wreath was also created by stamping in a circle same as the Beginner card. An additional leaf was stamped on the front as well. Because the Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.
Check out the close-ups below.
Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Sending Hugs Wreath Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this sending hugs wreath card, the Eden’s Garden Stamp Set, and Eden Dies. Also added was the Ever Eden Designer Series Paper (DSP). Lastly, added was the Evening Evergreen Open Weave Ribbon which is a great addition to this pretty card. It turned out so amazing! Down below are the close-ups.
I hope that you enjoyed this Simple Stamping Sunday blog post using this Early Release of the Eden’s Garden Suite. Every Sunday pop back in so that I can share more projects with you. I will leave you with images of all three cards. If you want to see last week’s Simple Stamping post, click here.
