Simple Stamping Sunday
So excited to bring the Nature’s Harvest Bundle to you for this entire week. I blog every day and I have had so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sundays are the days that start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
Not being a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Nature’s Harvest Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set, Blushing Bride, Petal Pink, and Basic White Cardstock, and accented with Petal Pink Organdy Ribbon. The ink color used was Blushing Bride Classic Ink. This stamp set is just beautiful. I just love the cone flowers. Check out the close-ups.
Taking a closer view of the card. You can see that using only one ink color still produces a beautiful card. If you choose to buy this stamp set in the new mini catalog, you will be able to make lots of beautiful fall and spring themed cards. Nature’s Harvest Bundle also goes well with a previous Bundle I showcased a few weeks back – Quiet Meadow Bundle. Click here to see that week Simple Stamping Sunday Cards. This week I will show you so many ideas daily. I hope you will see how truly beautiful it is because it would make a great addition to your collection or a great first stamp set. By Saturday, there will be quite a few projects for my efforts. Come back to my blog daily to see them all.
Casual Stamping Nature’s Harvest Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too just uses a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
This card is essentially the same as the first but uses the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set and Harvest Dies and matted with a piece of Blushing Bride. An extra color of cardstock, Soft Succulent, was used for the sentiment. Stampin’ Blends were also used to color the main image. Because a Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.
Check out the close-ups below.
Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Nature’s Harvest Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, the Nature’s Harvest Stamp Set and matching Harvest Dies were paired with Scalloped Contour Dies. As an added touch, I turned this card into a fun fold card, and I just love how it turned out! Down below are the close-ups.
I hope that you enjoyed this Simple Stamping Sunday blog post using the Nature’s Harvest Bundle. Every Sunday pop back in so that I can share more projects with you. I will leave you with images of all three cards. If you want to see last week’s Simple Stamping post, click here.
