So excited to bring two stamp sets to you this week. They are Seasons of Fun and Well Defined. I will be blogging with them both for this entire week. I blog every day and I have so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sunday is the day that start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
Not being a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Seasons of Fun Winter Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Seasons of Fun Stamp Set, Well Defined Stamp Set, Mossy Meadow Cardstock for the base, and accented with Merry Merlot and Basic White Cardstock. The inks I used were Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Mossy Meadow and Merry Merlot Classic Inks. The Seasons of Fun Stamp Set is a hostess stamp set. What does that mean? Well, it means you can get it for free with a qualified party of $150 or more. I just love the cute little girl pulling her baby tree on her sled. She is so sweet. Check out the close-ups.
Taking a closer view of the card. You can see how I colored the little girl using a few ink pads and Blender Pens, the results are a precious card. While Seasons of Fun Stamp Set is a hostess one you can earn for free, Well Defined is one you can purchase. If you choose to buy this stamp set in the new mini catalog, you will love it. This week I will show you so many cute ideas for it. I hope you will see how truly unique it is because it would make a great addition to your collection or a great first stamp set. Casual Stamping Seasons of Fun Winter Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too just uses a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
The background layer is essentially the same as the first card but uses Heart Warming Hugs DSP on the Merry Merlot strip of cardstock. An additional color of cardstock, Crumb Cake, was used on this card as well for a place to stamp the sentiment. Because a Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.

Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Seasons of Fun Winter Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, the Seasons of Joy Stamp Set, Well Defined Stamp Set, Wintry 3D Embossing Folders, Matte Decorative Dots, and plenty of colors of Blends Markers were used. Also added was the Heart Warming Hugs Designer Series Paper (DSP) on a slightly wider strip of Merry Merlot Cardstock. Lastly, added was the Bakers Twine Essentials Pack was used in the Crumb Cake color to tie a pretty bow on the top of the card. It turned out so cute! Down below are the close-ups.
