So excited to bring the Merriest Moments Bundle to you for this entire week. I blog every day and I have so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sunday is the day that I start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
Not being a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Merriest Moments Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Merriest Moments Bundle, Balmy Blue Cardstock for the base, and accented with Very Vanilla Cardstock. The inks used were Cinnamon Cider, Balmy Blue, Soft Suede, and Crumb Cake Classic Inks. This stamp set is just gorgeous. Check out the close-ups.
If you choose to buy this bundle out of the new mini catalog, you will love it. This week I will show you so many ideas for it. I hope you will see how truly gorgeous it is because it would make a great addition to your collection or a great first stamp set. This entire week, I will be sharing ideas daily. By Saturday, there will be quite a few projects for my efforts. Come back to my blog daily to see them all.
Casual Stamping Merriest Moments Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too just using a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
The background layer is essentially the same as the first card but uses an extra layer of Balmy Blue cardstock. This time the sentiment is added to the Tailored Tag Punch instead of stamped directly onto the card. The layered panel was popped up using Stampin’ Dimensionals. Because a Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.
Check out the close-ups below.
Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Merriest Moments Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies and almost always use ribbon and embellishments. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, the Merriest Moments Bundle, Tailored Tag Punch, Gold & Rose Gold Metallic Specialty Paper, and Champagne Rhinestones were used. The main thing that was different was the Emboss-Resist Technique was used. If you want more information about that, leave a comment below. Here are the close-ups.
I hope that you enjoyed this Simple Stamping Sunday blog post using the Merriest Moments Bundle. Every Sunday pop back in so that I can share more projects with you. I will leave you with images of all three cards. If you want to see last week’s Simple Stamping post, click here.
