As I sit here thinking about what to write in my first blog post, ever present in my mind are thoughts of how I came to love paper crafting. From a young age, I always enjoyed doing crafts, but when I found paper crafting I was hooked!
It all started when I had my daughter 21 years ago. With all the baby showers I had for a first baby, I did not receive a baby book to record all the milestones. I made friends at the hospital with another mom that had her baby the same day as me, and she told me she would take me shopping to buy the things to make a baby scrapbook. From the first page I created, I was hooked!
Fast forward to when I had my son, 19 years ago, I was teaching classes at the local scrapbook store and one of my customers introduced me to Stampin’ Up!. I instantly fell in love with their coordinating papers and ink pads and my love of paper crafts reached another level. Not only could I make great scrapbook pages, but I could make cards and 3D items as well. ♥
Not long after that, I signed up to sell their products just for the discount. I met great people and I got to travel and meetup with people that loved to do what I loved. Convention was one of the best times I have had selling Stampin’ Up!.
I enjoyed being a demonstrator for 11 years and I stopped to spend time with my two kids during their high school years. But the great thing about selling Stampin’ Up! is that you can start or stop anytime you wish. I signed back up in March of 2020 and am enjoying designing cards and meeting new people once again.
I would love to meet you or design a class or project with you. Sign up for my Stamp Club To Go or watch my Facebook Lives and let me know you are watching. Feel free to check out my blog and its’ posts regularly. You can sign up via email to get alerts when new posts are added.
Thanks for reading! ♥ Kelli
