It is Friday! Happy Fri-YAY everyone! What does that mean is for the blog? – Tips, Tricks, and Techniques. Today I have a Tip to show you called Fussy-Cutting. This week we focused on the Penguin Place Bundle from the July–December 2021 Mini Catalog.
The picture above is a sneak peek of tomorrow’s blog post, where I will show this Tip – Fussy Cutting DSP on my Facebook Live Session, Saturday at 4 pm EST. It is such a simple tip and works so well for these types of DSP. Let’s begin.
Take your DSP and cut away the area you want to fussy-cut.
Cut out your image from the DSP. You can either leave a border around the image like what is shown in the picture above. Or you can cut right along the image. Either way works.
I chose to fussy-cut one of each of the DSPs and left the others to use as backgrounds on cards and pieces used here and there. Once I finished fussy-cutting the pieces I wanted to use. I bagged them up as seen above so that I can use them on future cards and projects.
