The first project tonight used the Peace & Joy Bundle. I paired it with the Snowflake Splendor Suite’s (DSP and Die set). This card is so fun because it uses a window sheet. You can see the inside of the card showing through. The words in the Peace & Joy Bundle dies are just perfect. I can’t believe I held out so long in buying this Bundle from the August to December 2020 Mini Catalog.
I love all the blues used to make this card. Night of Navy, Pool Party, Pacific Point cardstock, and inks really tie in well with the Snowflake DSP. The bold script in this bundle is just perfect and I love how the dies cut out the inked words and then a background as well.
The second project tonight also used the Peace & Joy Bundle, but this time I paired it with the Heartwarming Hugs DSP. I love the traditional Christmas colors in this patterned paper. I used leftover scraps of DSP to pull this look together.
The coordinating colors of cardstock in this DSP are Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz, Real Red, and Whisper White. I used Gold Foil Sheets to die-cut the word Bright and used Adhesive sheets to attach it to the Whisper White cardstock Background I cut from the die set. Then I attached that to a die-cut from Pear Pizzazz cardstock also cut from the die set. Gold twine was used from the Forever Greenery Combo Pack of Ribbon.
I stamped the words Merry and And with Real Red Classic Ink on Whisper White cardstock and hand-cut that out. The finishing touch on the front of this card was the gold pearls embellishments from the Metallic Pearls set of embellishments.
Even the inside of this card wasn’t neglected. I stamped the sentiment using Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Real Red ink and finished it off with 2 Mossy Meadow ink stamped sprigs and Real Red ink stamped berries.
