I was inspired by one of Stampin’ Up!’s Artisian’s for the design of this card. I loved the color combo she used and the banner for the sentiment made with the dotted framelit from the Curvy Dies. I used two ink colors for the outside of this card. Crumb Cake Classic Ink and Memento Tuxedo Black Ink.
The bow was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink on Cherry Cobbler cardstock and fussy-cut out. The Curvy Dies are just so versatile. I love the small sprig die that I used here and cut out of Just Jade cardstock.
The banner was stamped on Whisper White cardstock and cut out with the dotted curved framelit from the Curvy Dies. A 1-1/2″ circle was punched out of Crumb Cake cardstock and the Classic Christmas DSP was die-cut out with two of the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. The finishing touch was the Embroidered Ribbon behind the die-cuts.
The inside of the card was stamped with Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set in Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink on a Whisper White cardstock scalloped rectangle also from the Stitched So Sweetly Dies. It was attached to a square of Cherry Cobbler colored star paper from the Classic Christmas DSP that coordinates with the Curvy Christmas stamp set.
For my second project, I used a die from the Curvy Dies, the fancy cut out curvy one along the bottom half of the card, and the Classic Christmas 6 x 6 DSP pack of paper was also used at the bottom.
At the top of the card, I stamped the bough stamp from Curvy Christmas three times in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink. Then stamped the bow on Cherry Cobbler Cardstock in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and fussy-cut it out. I also added some bling with Stampin’ Up!’s Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels.
The sentiment was stamped right above the curvy detailed fancy die in Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink. It just looks so pretty!
The inside was prettified as well! (Is that a word? lol) I used both Cherry Cobbler Classic Ink to stamp the bow and Shaded Spruce Classic Ink to stamp the inside sentiment, which is from the Itty Bitty Christmas stamp set. The piece of patterned paper I chose from the Classic Christmas 6 x 6 DSP pack, shows on both the inside and outside of the card.
This week I stamped a BONUS project as an incentive to purchase the Quite Curvy Bundle from me. For those who choose to do so by Saturday, November 7, 2020, at midnight EST. I will include a BONUS project in the make and takes that will be sent to you. You will also receive my monthly gift for spending $50 or more as well.
This BONUS project is just the cutest and guess what?! It even jingles! I just love the way it turned out. Three different ink colors were used on it, Real Red, Shaded Spruce, and Crumb Cake Classic Inks.
I used the Curvy Dies to cut out the curvy dotted edge used again on this sweet card. I think the curvy edge you see in the picture above adds so much to the front of this card. I also love the font used on the sentiments in the Curvy Christmas stamp set. Isn’t it adorable?
The trees were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and colored in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink with a Blender Pen. The tree trunks were colored in, also with a blender pen, using Crumb Cake Classic Ink. I also stamped the tiny snowflakes in that same Crumb Cake Classic Ink.
The Real Red 3/8″ Sheer Ribbon is just so beautiful on this card and matches the Real Red Cardstock that was used. I love how well it holds that sweet green jingle bell secure. I also think it is pretty cool that you can see the snowflakes peeking through the sheerness of the ribbon.
The inside sentiment was stamped in Real Red Classic Ink on a piece of Whisper White Cardstock that had been die-cut with the Stitched Rectangle Dies. Lastly, I stamped the pretty leafy image from the Curvy Christmas stamp set in Shaded Spruce Classic Ink beneath it.
