This week we made a special project. It is two things in one. A gift and a card rolled into one cute project.
Four variations are showed in the picture above. See below for the details.
The first card was made using the Brightly Gleaming Specialty Designer Series Paper, Pretty Peacock Cardstock, and the Sounds of the Season Dies.
The Box was made with the Brightly Gleaming Specialty DSP and tied with 1/8″ Night of Navy Ribbon from the Playing with Patterns Ribbon Combo Pack.
The Copper Bell was die cut using the Sounds of the Season Dies and Copper Foil Sheets. The boughs were cut from Night of Navy Cardstock. The finishing touch on that pretty bell was the Old Olive metallic edge ribbon from the All the Trimming Ribbon Combo Pack.
The sentiment was stamped in Night of Navy Classic Ink and punched out from Very Vanilla Cardstock using the Label Me Fancy Punch. It added the right sparkle to this oh so cute project.
The next card was made using the Playful Pets DSP, Real Red and Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and the Stitched So Sweetly Dies.
The cute box on this card was created with the precious Playful Pets DSP. There are a variety of dog and cat breeds in the package of paper as well as coordinating doggie and kitty accessory images.
The Playful Pets DSP really is the star of the show on this project. This kitty was fussy cut from the DSP as well as the mouse she is about to pounce on.
The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White Cardstock in Flirty Flamingo Classic Ink, and die cut with a die from the ever adorable Stitched So Sweetly Dies. Such a cute touch!
The third card was made using the Poinsettia Petals Bundle and Poinsettia Place Designer Series Paper.
Poinsettia Place DSP is just gorgeous on this box. I love the Just Jade In Color Ribbon tying it closed as well.
But with all that being said, I think the Poinsettia that was cut from the Poinsettia Dies steals the show. I sponged over it in So Saffron Classic Ink to match the So Saffron Cardstock. Lastly, I added the Gold Metallic Pearls to the center.
The last card I will show today is one I made with the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper and the Snowflake Wishes Bundle.
The box was made using the Snowflake Splendor Designer Series Paper and tied closed with Misty Moonlight In Color Ribbon.
I die cut the snowflakes using the So Many Snowflake Dies. I love the Balmy Blue Glimmer Paper that I die cut the top snowflake out of. The bottom snowflake was sponged with Pacific Point Classic Ink.
The Snowflakes were sparkle-fied with the gorgeous Blue Adhesive Backed Gems.
Lastly, I stamped the Snowflake from the Snowflake Wishes Stamp Set in Seaside Spray Classic Ink and then overlayed it with a sentiment from the same set in Pacific Point Classic Ink. I punched out the sentiment from Whisper White Cardstock using the Label Me Lovely Punch.
