Facebook Live – November 10, 2020, Press On

First off, can I tell you just how much I love this Press On stamp set? It is the cutest little stamp set. I used the covered coffee cup from the set and the cute little heart to stamp on this card. When I think of friends, I think about meeting at the local Starbucks and drinking coffee while catching up with your besties. This card represents that.

I stamped the cute little covered coffee cup in Night of Navy Classic Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. I also stamped the coffee cup sleeve on a small piece of Snowflake Spendor DSP. I fussy cut out the sleeve and attached it to the cup. It looks so wintery and pretty on the cup.

I stamped a snowflake background on Whisper White Cardstock by using Pool Party and Balmy Blue Classic Inks to create a little blizzard. The blizzard was created with the Snowflake Wishes stamp set. I then stamped the small hearts surrounding the coffee cup in Night of Navy Classic Ink with the heart from the Press On stamp set.

I stamped the sentiment in Night of Navy Classic Ink on Balmy Blue Cardstock, then used the Banners Pick A Punch to cut the points in the piece of cardstock. It turned out so cute!

I attached a Stitched Rectangle cut from Pool Party Cardstock with the Stitched Rectangle Dies to the inside of the card and then glued a small strip of Snowflakes Splendor DSP to the bottom. Lastly, I stamped three small hearts from the Press On stamp set in Night of Navy Classic Ink in the bottom right-hand corner of the Stitched Rectangle.

The finishing touch to the outside of the card was the Blue Adhesive Backed Gems I attached to the Whisper White Cardstock stamped with pretty snowflakes. I would love to receive a card like this from my friend. What about you?

The second card I made, showcases both cups in the Press On stamp set. Who am I kidding? Coffee things just make me happy! I LOVVVVVVVEEEEE this card!

I started with the covered coffee cup. Stamped it on Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Tuxedo Black Ink. I even stamped the sleeve on a scrap of Heartwarming Hugs DSP, which I fussy cut with my Paper Snips and glued to the top of the cup. Next, I colored the base of the cup with a Light Crumb Cake Stampin Blend Marker.

The second cup was also stamped on Whisper White Cardstock with Memento Black Tuxedo Ink. Next, I colored the cup with the Light Granny Apple Green Stampin’ Blend Marker. I also added the design on the cup with a piece of Heartwarming Hugs DSP glued in place. Next, I stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink, the sentiment that reads “Coffee is always a good idea”. I positioned it to look like steam coming from the cup. Three little Red Rhinestone Basic Jewels add the sparkle.

How cute are the stamped coffee beans on the bottom of the card? I stamped them in Early Espresso Classic Ink. With Crumb Cake Classic Ink, I used a Stamping Sponge to blend the ink in circles to the card base, which was cut from Sahara Sand Cardstock. The finishing touch is the pretty red ribbon with the white stitching running through it. It is from the Playful Pets Combo Pack of Ribbon, and looks amazing on this card!

Next, the sentiment was stamped in Early Espresso Classic Ink into the center. Using Real Red Classic Ink, I stamped the halo from the Press On stamp set above the sentiment.

The inside of the card is made into a gift card holder by glueing a piece of Heartwarming Hugs DSP to the inside bottom of the card. The Starbucks gift card was added to the inside to make someone’s day!
