This week’s Facebook Live showcased the Dragonfly Garden Bundle. It was inspired by the simplicity but beauty of its’ images. Both projects use a variety of products from the Dandy Garden Suite.
The first project I made for you on my Facebook Live used the Dandy Garden Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. You get 20 cards scored and ready-to-use, plus 20 decorated envelopes in the pack. They are located on page 25 of the January to June 2021 Mini Catalog.
The star of this card was the Purple Posy Cardstock tag. It was stamped with the beautiful daisy stamp from the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set. The ink used to stamp it was Rich Razzleberry. I stamped it twice side-by-side and lowered the stamp slightly the second time I stamped it. I also punched some baby dragonflies out of Bumble Bee Cardstock. Using the rich Razzleberry Stampin’ Write Marker from the Regals Assortment, I markered just the words ‘Thank You’ from the sentiment included in the Dragonfly Garden Stamp Set.
I also used the Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper for this beautiful card. Laying a strip of DSP vertically under the tag, and a small scrap under the ‘Thank you’ sentiment, complimented this card nicely. I also chose to use some ribbon from the Sweet Ice Cream Suite called Blackberry Bliss Striped Ribbon, and it is just gorgeous. I punched the Purple Posy Cardstock with the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch and used the hole in the top to insert the ribbon.
For the next project, I stamped using the same Dragonfly Garden Bundle with a different color scheme. I used Misty Moonlight Cardstock for the base of my card. Hints of Mossy Meadow Cardstock and Classic Ink made their debut as well.
After folding the card base in half, I attached strips of Dandy Garden 6″ x 6″ Designer Series Paper to it in shades of Misty Moonlight and Mossy Meadow.
I stamped two dragonflies on Whisper White Cardstock in Mossy Meadow Classic Ink, and one dragonfly on a scrap of Whisper White Cardstock, that I later punched out with the Dragonflies Punch. Next, came the sentiment stamped in Misty Moonlight Classic Ink.
I used Mini Stampin’ Dimensionals to lift the loose Dragonfly up on the card.
The final result is awesome! I hope you like it and try to make them.
