This week’s Live showcased the In the Pines Bundle. I was inspired by another demonstrator. Both cards used Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White Cardstocks, Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, and Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink.
The first card made tonight has very little stamping. But that goes to show you, that this bundle can be used in so many ways. The star of this card is the die-cut pieces. The lace border at the bottom of this card is cut from a die from the Painted Labels Dies, but all the rest are cut from Pine Wood Dies.
The sentiment was stamped in Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink on Whisper White Cardstock that was hand cut using Paper Snips. The background cardstock, that the Christmas tree was die-cut out of, was first embossed with the Subtle 3D Embossing Folder. But the star of this show, for me, was the Heartwarming Hugs Designer Series Paper, that peeks out from the hole left by the Christmas tree cut out from that piece of embossed Whisper White Cardstock!
As you all know, this girl loves bling! So this card wouldn’t be complete without the Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels or All the Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack. The sparkly edges on that ribbon just make me smile!
The inside of the card has to be a surprise too! I used a tree die from the Pine Wood Dies and cut it out with a scrap of Heartwarming Hugs DSP. I also tied in the same Pear Pizzazz lace border as the front of the card.
The second card from tonight’s Live used the same Pear Pizzazz and Whisper White Cardstock as the previous card. It also used the Heartwarming Hugs DSP, Champagne Rhinestone Basic Jewels, and All the Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack. But as you can see the results are completely different.
I stamped the trees in Pear Pizzazz Classic Ink on Whisper White Cardstock. After doing so, I ran the stamped cardstock through my Stampin‘ Cut and Emboss Machine using the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder. It added that back layer of trees in white. I love the results!
Of course, the inside always has to hold a fun surprise! This time I stamped a small group of trees and added a strip of the Heartwarming Hugs DSP.
