So excited to bring the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set to you for this entire week. I blog every day and I have so much fun doing it! Blessed to love what I do, bringing you great projects every day. Sunday is the day that I start with a new stamp set or bundle. I call Sunday’s Simple Stamping Sunday.
I’m not a simple stamper, I like lots of layers, bling, ink colors, die cuts, and ribbons. You get the idea! I have been stamping for over 20 years, and I sometimes forget what it was like when I first began. And because it is Simple Stamping Sunday, that means I am posting a simple stamping project using only stamps, ink, and paper. Basic projects that anyone can do. You won’t have to own half the Stampin’ Up! catalog to make them! LOL! Sometimes it is nice to go back to how you began.
Beginner Stamping Delivering Cheer Card
This card is a Simple Stamped card. Let’s call it a Beginner Card. It uses only stamps, ink, and paper. I used the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set, Evening Evergreen Cardstock for the base, and accented with Basic White and Crumb Cake Cardstock. The ink used was Memento Tuxedo Black Ink, but I used Evening Evergreen, Cherry Cobbler, and Crumb Cake Classic Inks, and also Blender pens were used to apply those inks for coloring. This stamp set is just nostalgic. It reminds me of I Love Lucy. Check out the close-ups.
If you buy this stamp set from me, you will love it. This week I will show you many cute ideas for it. I hope you will see how truly great it is. It would make a great addition to your collection or a great first stamp set. This entire week, I will be sharing ideas daily. By Saturday, there will be quite a few projects for my efforts. Casual Stamping Delivering Cheer Card
That first card was a Simple Stamping card, and this one is simple too it just uses a few extra products. This second card represents one created by a Casual Stamper, someone who has been stamping for a while and has collected more products. It uses a few more supplies.
The background layer is essentially the same as the first card but an additional color of cardstock, Cherry Cobbler, was used on this card to help make the image pop. This time the coloring was done with Stampin’ Blends Markers. Also used was the Banner Pick A Punch for the flag end on the sentiment. Because a Casual Stamper has a few more products at their disposal than a Beginner, the results are similar but just a step up.

Now that you have seen the Beginner card, and the card of a Casual Stamper, next, I will show you the card of an Avid Stamper. An Avid stamper is someone who has been crafting for quite a while and has acquired more than your average amount of supplies. They like to try new things and make unique cards using lots of extras.
Avid Stamping Delivering Cheer Card
The Avid Stamper likes to add even more to a card. They not only have purchased the stamp set but also the matching dies. Ribbon and embellishments are almost always used. They own plenty of ink colors, additional die-cut sets, punches, and even Stampin’ Blends Markers. All those things when added to a card help it achieve a more “professional” look. On this card, the Delivering Cheer Stamp Set, Scalloped Contour Dies, Sweet Stockings Designer Series Paper (DSP) were used. Lastly, added were the 2021-2023 In Color Jewels. I love this card!
